Elke is a psychologist with almost 20 years of counselling experience. She has a Masters degree in counselling psychology and is currently completing a doctorate in clinical psychology, driven by her passion for learning, continuous professional development and growth. Elke works with adolescents and adults on a vast range of issues including depression and anxiety, postnatal depression and parenting issues, trauma and abuse, grief and loss, anger management, life direction and adjustment issues. Like Remy, Elke believes that treatment needs to be customized to the individual patient, the patient's presenting concerns and personality style. She draws on a vast range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, and solution-focused therapy. Elke has a passion for people, counselling and psychology. She loves assisting people to bring the best out of them and enhancing their enjoyment of life.

Remy Lindner

Psychologist

Remy is a registered psychologist and full member of the Australian Psychological Society. Remy has focused his professional development on cognitive behaviour therapy, Eriksonian clinical hypnosis, mindfulness, solution-focussed therapy and strategic therapy techniques. Remy works to help clients overcome difficulties and make it through tough times, while also aiming to improve clients overall satisfaction with life. Therapy is individualized, and focusses on the client's particular concerns, lifestyle, values, goals, strengths and weaknesses. Take home tasks and practical strategies often form an important part of therapy.

Darryl is a registered Psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society. He works with people of all ages from late teen years onwards, as well as working with couples. Darryl works with clients to create a supportive environment for them to explore thoughts and emotions in relation to their unique experiences. He works towards empowering clients to create change and discover the control and influence they can have on their thoughts, their emotions and focusing their attention.

Darryl emphasises the importance of implementing changes and practicing positive habits to assist clients to increase their quality of life. Davina

Davina Morley

Psychologist

Davina works with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, adjustment, and anger management. Davina is also passionate and experienced in working with diverse sexuality and transgender issues (including non-binary identities).

Davina seeks to create room for people to explore their concerns safely and authentically in an atmosphere of non-judgment and self-compassion. She draws on different therapeutic approaches to suit the needs of the person, including cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, existential psychotherapy, and compassion focused therapy.  

Davina also holds a humanities degree and is sensitive to people's experience of internalised transphobia, homophobia, and racism.  She is privileged to have worked with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander colleagues and clients.  Outside of the office, Davina enjoys writing and playing the guitar and piano.

Alie Rodwell

Alie works with clients to provide them with an experience that has personal meaning.  Often this involves supporting clients as they reflect and enact change.  Alie is experienced in working with clients who are struggling with difficult emotions, such as anger, depression, or anxiety.  She also works with people who are aiming to break unhelpful behavioural patterns, such as addiction or harmful relationships.  Since completing a Master of Clinical Psychology, Alie has continued to develop skills in working with single-incident and complex trauma, within both adolescent and adult populations.

Alie is an accredited Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) provider and is experienced in working with peri-natal issues.  These include: psychological preparedness for childbirth and parenthood, acute post-natal distress, longer-term adjustment to parenthood, and evidenced-based parenting practices.

Alie collaborates with clients to develop a therapeutic style that works for them.  Her approach typically draws from mindfulness-based, cognitive-behavioural, and acceptance-based therapies.  She is also experienced in working beyond traditional "talk" therapies within client populations that are less practiced at expressing themselves verbally.

Tim McPherson

Psychologist

Tim is a registered Psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society. He has a Master's Degree in clinical psychology and has passion for working with young people to address emerging mental health concerns.

Tim works with people of all ages and has a strong background in psychological interventions for addiction. He prides himself on a client-centred framework, drawing on the individual strengths of clients to assist with whatever has brought them to counselling. Seeing a psychologist for the first time can be really daunting; Tim works to foster a non-judgemental therapeutic space in which clients can explore their worries in a way that works best for them.
